NMMS Scholarship 2022-23 – National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship is a Centrally sponsored scholarship scheme. It is implemented by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Human Resource Development with the objective to financially support the meritorious students of economically weaker sections of society. NMMS encourages disadvantaged students to continue their studies at the secondary level by offering a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per annum.

NMMS Syllabus And Exam Pattern: MAT Exam Pattern:
State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) prescribes the syllabus of NMMS and MAT exam pattern. Candidates appearing for the National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship exam must prepare for NMMS exam. According to the NMMS test structure, there are two papers, namely.
MAT (Mental Ability Test): Time : Part -I: 90 Minutes Max. Marks: 90
The paper tests verbal as well as non-verbal abilities of the test takers, which requires reasoning and critical thinking skills. Some of the topics under the NMMS MAT are as follows:
